Given enough motivation, an individual with modest resources can now make a feature-length film, publish a hardcover book, start a TV or radio station, outsource manufacturing of sophisticated products, and sell products to a global marketplace.”

The one example from this list that at first seems far-fetched is the idea of manufacturing sophisticated products, but then when you think about the 100K garages network it becomes clear that proximity is trumped by networking, at least for some types of deep texture collaboration.
